When you request one of the free books, I collect the email address you enter and, if you answer them, your responses to four short questions about your situation. I also record the time of your visit and, where your browser provides it, which site referred you here.
One reason, and it's boring: to understand who reads this work and what's actually in their way, so that what I write — and what I build — answers it. Your address is the thread that connects your answers; it isn't used for anything else.
On a private server in the EU (AWS, London region), in a file only I can access. Your details are never sold, shared, rented or used for anything beyond the two purposes above.
If you allow it on the banner, this site uses Google Analytics with IP anonymisation to count visits and see which pages get read. If you choose "Essential only", no analytics cookie is set and nothing is sent to Google. Either way the books are yours.
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. One email does it: agent@templonix.com. Deletion requests are honoured within 30 days, usually the same week.
